EaP PLUS organized Information Day in Odessa, Ukraine (May 22, 2019)

On May 22, 2019 the EaP Plus project organized an Information Day about Horizon 2020 and SME Instrument in Odessa, Ukraine.
The Info day was opened by the Polish NCP for MSCA and ERC grants Magdalena Chomicka. She presented the overall information on the Horizon 2020 programme, state of play of the last Work Programme and publication of last calls for WP 2018-2020.
The next presentation by the Ukrainian NCP for Food security Tatiana Stepanova discussed how and where to find information and introduced the new Funding and Tender portal. Tatiana also reviewed ways of searching for project partners and building the project consortium.
The SME Instrument and other financial tools supporting SMEs were presented by Michał Wujewski – the expert from the Poznan Science and Technology Park in Poland.
A call decoding exercise was conducted jointly by the Polish and Ukrainian NCPs for MSCA Magdalena Chomicka and Karina Shakhbazyan, while Karina later presented MSCA calls suitable for SMEs.
Olena Koval from the National Information Centre for Ukraine wrapped up the Info day with the presentation of eligible costs and ways of building a budget for the institution and for the consortium as a whole, while Magdalena Chomicka discussed the calculation of costs for MSCA calls.
