Information Day on SPIRE calls in Georgia on December 21
Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia organises an Info Day on SPIRE calls
The Information day on SPIRE was successfully organized on December 21 in Tbilisi, Georgia (see event announcement article directly below this article).
SPIRE (Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency) 2018 open calls and useful information on horizon 2020 participation was discussed during the meeting. Presentations were delivered by SPIRE contact point in Georgia, Dr. Marita Arabidze and Energy NCP Dr. Natalia Shatirishvili. 2018-2020 Work Programme, partner search tools, EaP PLUS grants for networking and other opportunities for international cooperation within Horizon 2020 were presented by the representatives of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRSNFG).
The event was attended by diverse group of participants including academic and SME sector. Presentations were followed by Q&A.
Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia is organizing an Information day on SPIRE calls on December 21st, 2017, at 16:00. SPIRE (Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency) calls are part of Horizon 2020 work programme on Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing. The aim of the calls is to further strengthen the global leadership of Europe’s industry in environmental sustainability, through a combination of mature and disruptive technologies.
As stated in Working Programme international cooperation may be particularly appropriate in some areas of the Sustainable Process Industry, in particular with Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus).
The Information Day will review the currently open SPIRE calls for 2018 (submission deadline for all: February 22, 2018)
