The information day was attended by representatives of the Georgian scientific community, research universities and scientific centers. The event agenda comprised presentations on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020, participation rules, legal and financial issues and various opportunities for enhancing international cooperation for Georgian scientists.
The following speakers delivered presentations: Dr. Béla Kardon- the Chief Scientific Officer and Mr. Ádám Dávid – international expert from the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (RCISD). The second session of the event focused on the SPIRE Calls (Sustainable Process Industry). SPIRE offers an unique opportunity for the researchers in the EaP countries to participate in consortia with EU partners to prepare proposals under H2020 "Industrial Leadership" Pillar (Work Programme part 5.ii Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology and Advanced Manufacturing and Processing), since calls under SPIRE recommend to cooperate with partners from the EaP region "in particular".
