EaP Plus webinar 10: “2019 Calls in Widening participation and Widening Fellowships”

On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 (10:00 Warsaw time), we would like to invite you to the 10th webinar of the EaP Plus project dedicated to Widening participation and Widening Fellowships.
Widening consists of three main actions, i.e. Teaming, Twinning and ERA Chairs, for which specific eligibility conditions apply. This ensures a targeted approach towards Widening Member States and Associated Countries. The Member States currently eligible for Widening support are: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
The Associated Countries currently eligible for Widening support are (subject to valid association agreements of third countries with Horizon 2020): Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, The Republic of North Macedonia, Georgia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The European Commission published the newest version of the Work Programme for ‘Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation’ on July 2, 2019.
This Work Programme contains the information on the WIDESPREAD-05-2020: Twinning and WIDESPREAD-06-2020: ERA Chairs calls for 2019.
The calls will open on July 24, 2019 and will close on November 14, 2019.
Widening Fellowships provide an opportunity to researchers of any nationality to acquire and transfer new knowledge and to work on research and innovation in Widening countries. The proposals submitted under the Widening Fellowships must fulfil all the admissibility and eligibility conditions of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions Individual Fellowships and pass all the thresholds for that call.
